Hunter green is coming back! In the mid 90's, I had hunter green kitchen countertops and a white and Hunter checkered tile backsplash. I had Hunter green flannel button down that I wore with light washed pegged jeans.  Loved it but then it waned and I'm not sure I owned anything in hunter green for years.. Until this gorgeous Chelsea28 lace top.

After I received it, I was looking at my stack of jeans and getting ready to grab black ones when I spotted my grey ones again and thought it paired so pretty with the green. Add in my two favorite accessories, the leopard clutch and pointy toe black pumps and it just felt right.

Flowy tops are my favorite. I just don't enjoy wearing tight around my tummy tops like I did in the 90's but I sure am glad Hunter Green is making a comeback!

Now Let's Link-Up your fabulous style and head over to The Blended Blog and see what one of our beautiful ladies is styling and loving!

I sure do love chicken soup but rarely make it because I leave it up to my mama who makes the best. However, this last weekend was so rainy and dreary and we just wanted some soup to soothe the soul. I decided I wanted to cook it in the crockpot and it was perfect timing as my dear friend Carlee from Cooking with Carlee, is hosting Crocktober with a Link-Up of all kinds of Crock-Pot and slow cooker recipes. and this whole week she is showcasing Choctoberfest...all chocolate recipes!

I love soup so much so my love of soup bowls goes hand in hand with that. I almost forgot about these soup bowls I got a few years ago from Amazon as they are so pretty for Fall. This time of year gives me all the soup feels although, if I'm being honest, I could eat soup all year round. Mr. Nine does not like noodles so our youngest and I gobbled this up, but you could...gasp...make this without noddles. I'm not a huge fan either but I do like a few
in my chicken soup.

This Soulful Chicken Soup really did soothe our souls and it made just enough for me to take a couple bowls of it to work and return the favor by sharing some with my mom.
What you'll need

2-3 pounds bone-in chicken (I used 2 thighs & 2 breasts)
3 medium carrots, cut in rounds
2 cups celery cut in 1/2 inch pieces
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 Tablespoons good chicken base
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
6 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
2 cups wide egg noodles
3 Tablespoons finely chopped parsley
1/2 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Place chicken and all the ingredients except noodles, parsley and lemon juice in a 6 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low for 6 hours or until chicken is very tender and starts to separate from the bone. Remove the chicken, dice or shred and return the meat to the slow cooker. Stir in the noodles and parsley. Cover and cook on High for 20 minutes or until noodles are tender. Stir in the parsley and lemon juice. Serve immediately and garnish with leftover parsley.

I'm not going to lie, I am obsessed with blog link-ups! People think I'm crazy, but I literally link my posts up to over 100 blogs a week. It is one of the biggest generators for traffic to my blog, puts you in touch new readers, and you so gain much inspiration from what people have linked up from their blogs.

I will tell you, it definitely takes time to do all that linking up and I often find myself wanting to be able to be one of the first bloggers to link-up immediately after it goes live. I have done my research, and the linkers in the top couple dozen as usually the ones that garner the most veiws.

I thought it might be fun to compile a list of my favorite link-ups in case you, my Beautiful blogging friends, want to join in on the fun or want to learn about some new link-ups and great blogs that maybe you didn't know about before.

I'm going to break it into two groups and then by the day they go live and the name if the link-up as most span over several blogs. These are by no means all of the ones I link to but the ones that generate the most traffic. Seeing as though I help host a popular fashion link-up every Wednesday with my wonderful friends at TBB, I will start with those followed by the Lifestyle Blogs that often include posts for how-tos, decorating, recipes and motivational material. I'll also list the approximate time they go live. All Times are EST. Sometimes they vary but I'll give you an approximate or at least am/pm.

While my friends and I at The Blended Blog don't have too many link-up rules, we trust that you're visiting others and commenting often, but we don't it make it rigid like some bloggers do. Once, I was emailed and told that if I didn't link back to her blog within 30 minutes, she was deleting all my link-ups to her kinky party that day. Needless to say, she lost a reader. All that we ask is that you don't link up too many posts as to share the wealth and that you stick to the topic of the link-up theme. For example don't link-up an outfit post on a recipe and food link-up. Or a post about religion on a fashion link-up. You get the gist.

I hope you bloggers gain from this list of my favorite link-ups. Trust me when I say you will benefit greatly by either joining link-ups with your fabulous post material or hosting one yourself! If you host a link-up or know of some goods ones, by all means leave it in the comment. Happy Week ahead sweets!

Ok, I have a confession to make: I got in Busted by Mr. Nine this week. So you know my favorite Fall snack as mentioned HERE is my mom's Caramel Corn! Well my sweet mom brought me a little batch this week had I intended to share it with Mr. Nine but it was not much and it literally was her BEST.BATCH.EVER, so I put it in my Mom's Stash cabinet, ya know where I hide all my goodies from anyone with testosterone. Well one morning I was getting some out to put in a baggy for work and he caught me red handed. Needless to say, I was a good wife and shared! Now I'm sharing my Friday favorites with you sweet like caramel corn friends of mine!!

1. Family Time
With all the boys home for Fall break last weekend, I was so happy to have the busy boy's schedules align so Saturday we could have a family day! This was the first time we had all been together in two months! We went to the house site so they could walk it and see the progress, went to a favorite restaurant for lunch called Rocky River Tap and Grille and they even indulged mom in little home decor shopping at Kirkland’s and Home Goods.

Walking the property to the river..in Mud boots of course, it had rained something fierce!

We love our peaceful setting!

2. House Update
Drywall is complete. Stone retaining walls complete. This morning we meet with the "Closet Guy," Rolando, to lay out our closets and pantry. I am giddy to design my master "hers" closet with him.

Where the green is will be stone, some black shutters will be added, 3 pillars on the porch, front door painted black and design trim in the peaks.

One of the stone walls & in that big spot of dirt will go the pool!!

3. Week's Attire
Kohl's top, Macy's necklace and heels (I.N.C)

The Loft top, Charming Charlie necklace, JC Penny pants

Francesca top, Fashion Bella necklace, JC Penny Pants

4. White Jeans with Booties and Gingham

Up until yesterday it had been so warm still so I was pulling out my white jeans which I have been known to still wear in the winter. To make them more Fallish, I added open toe booties and a tan gingham shirt from Anthropologie.

5. Misc. FUN
NO, it is NOT too early for Christmas decor purchasing..what I got Saturday at Kirkland's
 It light's UP!! Buy HERE

You know I love my pumpkins! Do you love yours? Get your Mammo!! I just love Maxine, I get my mom a Maxine calendar every Christmas.

On Wednesday, I showed you a Favorite Fall Outfit and when I saw this top, I just knew it would look great with the red Hunter Boots and let's talk about what a cute Holiday look this Red Top would be with them.
I think I need it!!

and mama needs some new lipsticks. I love to get them in smaller versions to see if I like them first. I've heard a lot about Kylie's lip products and am loving the matte for Fall. Perfect colors.

And you're all my favorites..GO make it an AWESOME weekend!!
