FRIDAY FAVORITES...DEAD OF WINTER EDITION

Did someone say the words “Fri-YAY?” Yes it is and isn’t it GRAND!! It has been such a chilly week but we're looking at a heat wave of 48 on Sunday. The sad thing about that...the beautiful glistening snow is melting. Plan on little baking this weekend for future Tasty Tuesday posts and indulging in lots of hot bevy's!

1.Kindness
My dear friend from Texas, Stacey from Poofing The Pillows, has my heart with her sweet style and uplifting outlook. She and fellow friend and blogger Jemma and have been hosting posts called The PERK Project to show us with the help of readers comments what positive*encouraging*real*kindness looks like. I have been so inspired by their posts, especially in a world where it sometimes feels like Kindness is a dying act. I had some unkindness come my way this week. My goal is to be or do an act of kindness for someone each and every day! I hope you will too!

2. Bar Cart
There is it and she's beauty. Guess what? Monday is the reveal of Bar Cart #1!! So in Love!

4. Black and Cognac
Simple, easy, comfy, cozy and warm, that is exactly what I needed for running around last Saturday. To me, cognac and black is timeless and throw in a little leopard (my fav scarf) and chambray and good to go!

Planters and Cute Clock
Last Friday I showed you these cute planters.
Well, here is how I styled them; with an awesome clock my mom got me for my office.
Love the succulents I found at Hobby Lobby to go in them.

KING CAKE
And look at me, all thanks to my sweet sista Laura from The Horton Family. She sent us our very own King Cake and baby, it did not disappoint, I may have had a lot of it because well, it was CREAM CHEESE my friends and I'd never had it before!! Had to take a selfie with my new mask asap!!
AND it just so happens she's a BIRTHDAY Girl this weekend so get over there and wish my precious and true friend a Happy Birthday!
Love you girlfriend!
Laura with her man, Mr. Horton, how HOT does she look in red!!

HOPE YOU all have a FUN & HOT weekend!!

Sorry you had a little unkindness come your way, when you are such a kind person it hurts even more. No one deserves that. Oh well you are so very loved my friend so we'll all band together to combat unkindness with even more love and kindness!

Happy Friday !!! It's finally here. I'm loving your bar cart, it's gorgeous ~ And kindness.... where do I begin ? Kindness is lacking on social media. I took myself off of Facebook due to the truly unkind words of many. I don't understand people, but I do know for a fact that I love popping over to your blog and reading your amazing posts. You have always shown such kindness and I truly appreciate you Andrea :) XOXO ~

Heading her way with birthday wishes now! Love you oodles! Hope your weekend is every bit as beautiful as you are! xo - Brenda // Chatting Over Chocolate
