THIS IS 54! FRIDAY FAVORITES

We have another day in Sedona (lots to tell about this trip) but I’m popping up a quick Friday Favs to say this is 54 and ask how did I get this old? LOL!

My Birthday was Wednesday, and I could have done a big ole post with 54 reasons I love life or 54 lessons I’ve learned but that’s just too much! I’m simply grateful. I’m grateful for so much, to take another breath, to walk this life with a heart of love, to enjoy simple things in life and most importantly those I love. God gave us all a gift to explore this place called Earth, embrace the blessing of life and the older I get, the more I seize it! Now, with age comes sadness, pain and grief but the joy grows too and with that coupled by love, we know those things don’t last in their depths forever.

A huge joy I had to kick off my birthday week last weekend was a day with Mr. Nine, my mama, one son, his gal and my greatest Joys: the twins. We went to Michigan to an interactive museum, a carousel and had pizza at a favorite beach pizza joint. Great day despite still feeling little under the weather and Just missing the out-of-town kiddos.

And a favorite past birthday photo: the twin’s daddy presenting me with birthday shoes!

And my 2nd birthday fell on Easter. My mom made me a bunny cake and my Auntie was in town to help me blow out the candles. Fun Fact: my next Easter birthday will be on my 80th God Willing! And then again on my 85th, lol.

I honestly don't think my family has any idea how important and special birthdays are to me..that is why I try to make everyone feel extra special on their birthday!! Although I wish everyone was, I know most people aren't like that BUT That is who I am.

More about Arizona next week but reminder to come back Monday for our Amazon Link Up! I've got some great finds for warmer weather.

Yeehaw!!Cheers to another

54 years! lol.

FRIDAY FAVORITES THE SICK ONE

Hi babes! It’s been a sickly one around here! NOT a favorite! Mr. Nine and I have both been sick and we must be better as we have a fun day planned tomorrow and a big week next week where I might be turning another year older, lol! But anyway, let’s get to some Friday Favorites! No matter what the circumstances I can always find them!

Girlies are 18 Months TODAY!!!

Today! Those beautiful twin granddaughters of ours are 18 months old today! Just the light of our lives! We’re hoping to enjoy a fun discovery museum, pizza and carousel day tomorrow as an early birthday celebration for Grammy‘s birthday, lol

Etsy shop where sweaters

are from: HERE

Because everyone asks, lol...so cute!

Gigglescape Stuffed Animals

Gigglescape is such a great line from Target! They have more than stuffed animals, but my goodness their Easter line of stuff’s are the cutest! I almost want a CHICK for myself! Here is the chicken and the LAMB I got for the girls, so darling!

Lemon Tray

I can’t believe I have not shared with you that I’ve been decorating my tiered tray again. Not all three, lol,  just one of them, but I changed it out last week from St. Patrick’s Day to bright cheerful lemons! It’s a little different than the lemon one I did in the past ( see post HERE), but I just love it!

Neighborhood Cat and Stella

Last Fall, a cat, which I believe to be a neighborhood cat started coming and laying on our outdoor sectional on the porch. I put a blanket out there for him in case he wanted to lay there during cold evenings. Didn’t see him all winter, but he’s back and he often comes to the back patio door looking for his friend Stella. She’s not so keen on him, lol.

One Outfit

Sorry, friends just one outfit this week and a comfy one when I had to go out. I sure do love this sweater though from Quince. I was in lounge clothes and pajamas the rest of the week, lol.

Tiny Beautiful Things

I might be late to the viewing game on this one as it came out in 2023 but this limited series on Hulu has my heart! Have Kleenex ready. It is so good! Have you seen Tiny Beautiful Things?

Blast from Last

Since we’re talking about the girls turning 18 months old, I thought I would share a picture from last year to show you that their shoe game has been strong for the beginning, lol! Just look at those fuzzy slippers!

And Chicken Soup/Post of Week
My mama always makes me chicken soup when I am sick and it has hit the spot this week! And speaking of mama....in case you missed Mondays Post. It was about a trip to Nashville's for 2 mama's birthday's!  Read it HERE!!

Stay healthy loves and enjoy the
last weekend of March!

NASH BASH FOR OUR MAMA'S BIRTHDAYS

Last November, my friend Jenn, and I did something super fun! We celebrated our mom‘s birthdays in Nashville! Let me tell ya these ladies danced at the Honky-Tonks like nobody’s business! They were sung happy birthday to so many times and enjoyed every second of it! Not only did we have our mamas but we had Jenn’s mother-in-law and her sister and her daughter joined us with some of her friends too.

Can you seriously believe these ladies were turning 77 and 79! Beautiful!

We stayed at the sweetest Airbnb not far from Broadway and luckily all had early morning flights, so as soon as we settled in, we were off running. But first look how cute the lobby and our Airbnb is!

We started with a tour of the country music Hall of Fame, including a private tour of studio B. Elvis Presley himself stood in this very spot he recorded “Are you Lonesome Tonight” and it was so moving when they turned out the lights and played his recording. It happens to also be my favorite Elvis song!

Excited to show our husbands...that's their bus!

The Hall of Fame is so rich in history, and it was fun to tour.

That night called for a fun Italian dinner at Coco's Italian Market and some more ladies joined us.

Jenn’s mother-in-law and I got ourselves into a little bit of trouble when we accidentally got into the wrong vehicle in the parking lot, we were laughing so hard we were crying it was a hoot!

The next morning, we were ready to tackle a day on Broadway! We started out at the Garth Brooks bar and oh my gosh it was so fun! We got everybody dancing upstairs at the “Oasis” and had the best time.

One of my Favorite pics and Outfits of the trip!

Then Luke Bryan's Bar for Lunch.

That night, it was a trip to the Grand Ole Opry! We had a great night because Steven Curtis Chapman was getting inducted into the Hall of Fame, Carly Pearce was there along with Russell Dickerson and Lady A!

What a day this was! A limo picked us up to take us stocked with Champagne to the Arrington Vineyards, which is owned by Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn. It was a beautiful day. The driver rollout the red carpet and even made signs!

The limo was late because he couldn’t get through due to a parade, but the vineyards were so sweet to hold our tasting room where we had so much fun wine tasting.

The Dearest of Friends

Afterwards, we spent some fun at the vineyards, drinking slushies, laughing, making friends and taking pictures! It was just beautiful there!

Had the perfect pocket for water bottles and
HAD to smell the posies, LOL
Jumpsuit WHICH I LOVED HERE
and Jenn's daughter nicknamed me Pinky, lol

Random couple that loved the Birthday crew, they were so cute!

And I’m telling you, I literally have 300 to 400 pictures from this trip. We packed so much in that I’m having a hard time condensing it all for this post, lol.

What a great dinner we had that evening. A couple of the ladies were tired so four of us went to The Mockingbird in the Gulch and the food was out of this world Delicious! Just look at one of the desserts!

Another Favorite Pic!

Matching shirts for brunch and Broadway! Tootsies was a must!

Our Shirts HERE

Then we ended up at Lainey Wilson’s bar, which was spectacular! The decor was amazing, and we met so many cool people and garnered enough money to get the band to play The Devil went down to Georgia! So much dancing, lol!

By this time, all these old ladies are starting to get tired, lol! Just kidding, it was us young's that were tired, LOL! We grabbed pizzas, headed back and had birthday cake for our birthday mamas! Such a great day!

Jenn’s daughter is a nurse in Nashville so she took her grandma‘s, mom and aunt to her apartment and to check out some things. So, Mom and I took advantage of the day and went shopping down on 12th Ave. We had a great coffee at the frothy monkey and found some cute little shops. Of course, mom had to get her pic by the famous Nashville mural.

By that time, it was back to the condo to head to the airport.

What a treat to get to celebrate with our mamas! These ladies are precious, and we made every second as special as we could! Great memories made!

CHEERS GORGEOUS GIRLS

In fact, I even made my mom a picture memory book and this post is also great to remember it by. That’s something I love about the blog; it truly is an online diary! Because Lord knows the older I get the more I forget, lol!

Have a great week, I've got the Spring Cold..
pray it gets better ASAP!!!
